Our History

Since the Credit Union commenced it’s operations in 1974 with only the help of volunteers and the guidance of the Association of New South Wales Credit Unions we have grown to be the largest (in terms of staff employed) financial institution in Broken Hill.

Our services include savings accounts, fixed term deposits, non-cash payment facilities, loans, credit card, financial planning, insurance, internet and phone banking with many options in each category.

We believe in a strong member and quality service focus and in maintaining a positive relationship with our diversified membership.

Although our business has grown and changed since we were established more than 40 years ago, our core values of meeting member’s needs and our focus on continually improving our products and services remains unchanged.
